Businesses committed to international expansion
In the ten categories the ‘Award for Export’ was of particular interest. According to a recent poll more than a third of all medium sized businesses in the East of England plan to increase their export levels in the next 12 months. The Award for Export is for businesses that can display creativity, drive and commitment, to international expansion.
The Award for Export 2015 was won by European Medical Group Ltd for their work providing marketing materials to healthcare professionals in Europe. The award was sponsored and judged by Essex International (EI), Essex County Council’s (ECC’s) International Trade Team. EI were keen for businesses to enter the category as they know first-hand how many local companies are exporting abroad and increasing their presence overseas.
“We were delighted to sponsor this award. We would encourage all businesses with links to export to show the rest of the business world what can be achieved through forming partnerships overseas.”
Cllr Kevin Bentley, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economic Growth, ECC
